They probably don't even know about it.

Those are usually the people venting so as not to get another violation elsewhere. The normal procedure is if you feel your
"violation" is in error to appeal it to Customer Care.
There are some very good examples of what actually comprises a violation there and I wish more would visit there so as to avoid getting violations in the future.
My opinion a lot of people think Q&A is a chat room and is getting peoples accounts suspended or deleted altogether because of this.

They just have it so that way people can feel like they are gettin results, but in actuality, they have never restored anyones questions or answers, nor have they given them back their points. Everything is generated. People get their answers or questions booted off because of some spineless jerk who can't deal with someone elses opinion on an open forum. I mean if they don't like your question or answer. Then don't look at it or just move on to another question. Why do they have to answer when you specifically ask for serious answers. And if they don't like the answers, then don't ask questions. Anyway....any minute now someone is looking for these kinds of questions like yours and they get their jollies by reporting you...OOPS...now they are going to report me. Get a life you losers and leave our questions and answers alone.

Probably not, I got reported for making a smart a$$ comment back to some nasty pervert guy who asked a disgusting question they should have removed and I got a violation instead. I was pretty peeved. Thanks for the info

y/a doesn't seem to care about actually making the system better, they seem like they're just having fun p*ssing us off with the violations. Even though I've never gotten one so I don't know what everyones complaining about.

Yes, they do. I just received notice that my complaint about an undeserved violation is being reviewed.
