As far as I am aware - in a bank vault in Denver.

The pearl is known as the Pearl of Lao-Tzu and was discovered by a Filipino fisherman in 1934.

I believe it is still owned privately by a man called Victor Barbish.

The pearl itself is not very attractive. It weighs around 14 pounds, and measures 9.5" by 5.5". So its not round, as we imagine most pearls to be, and it does not have a smooth surface either.
