I would say orlando!

When i think of miami I think of parties & drinking & southbeach & i'm not really into that kind of lifestyle. Orlando has the theme parks, daytona is nearby, tampa is nearby! they've got everything in Orlando.

I live in Orlando, and my boyfriend's family lives in Miami so we're down there pretty frequently.

Personally, I could never live in Miami. It's crowded, traffic is insane, and housing costs are insanely high.

Orlando's not all peaches and cream either, and traffic can be irritating at times with all the tourists driving around not knowing where they're going, but I'd still take Orlando over Miami any day. As you say, we've got tons of stuff to do here- more than just the parks, but without the snooty South Beach attitude.

it depends on what you are looking for. if its theme parks and such, Orlando is better. Orlando might be a better family city. If its beaches and excitiement, Miami wins.

don't forget- as hot as it is in Miami, its feels 20 degrees hotter in Orlando- the fact that they are land-locked makes the air STIFLING.
