I've always thought there were a few that could win this title. Glenn Rice could light up anyone on any night and make 8-10 threes. Dennis Scott still holds the record (I think) for the most consecutive threes at 11/11. Ray Allen is the greatest three point shooter right now in the NBA, but I believe that the greatest of all has to be good old Reggie Miller. Any game that the Pacers were down by two with under 5 seconds left, opposing teams felt worse than if they were in the same situation. Nobody wanted to be up by 2 vs the Pacers with Reggie there, because he would knock down that three no matter what kind of pressure you put on him. Double team, triple team, it didn't matter. When that ball left his hand and the buzzer sounded, you knew it was going in. He destroyed more playoff hopes than I can count. That is why he's the best 3 point shooter in the history of the NBA. Not only does he lead the NBA in total threes, but he leads the NBA in clutch threes. One scary guy to play in the playoffs.

Reginald Wayne Miller (born August 24, 1965, in Riverside, California) is a retired American professional basketball player. Miller spent the entirety of his 18-year NBA career with the Indiana Pacers. Miller was known for his precision three-point field goal shooting, especially in clutch situations. He holds the NBA record for career three-pointers made (2,560). Currently, he works as an NBA commentator (along with his sister Cheryl) for TNT.
Miller is one of five Pacer greats (the others are Roger Brown, Mel Daniels, Coach Bobby "Slick" Leonard and George McGinnis) to have his jersey (#31) retired by the Pacers.

Manute Bol became a marvelous 3 factor shooter. He even got here up grab now and returned. i might say Shaq or vast Ben are the worst 3 factor shooters. yet in terms of misses, i might guess Shawn Marion or Antoine Walker. Why do they shoot the three anyhow? they're super interior the arc gamers.

Reggie Miller might have scored more 3's...but Jeff Hornacek of the jazz had a higher 3Pt% .433 compared to the .390 of miller in almost the same amout of games.

The stats say Steve Kerr. I say Mark Price.
Alot of 60's guys never had the three. Too bad. Jerry West would've probably retired it.

With the game on the line, when it matters(ed) the most, there were none better than Reggie Miller. That boy was nothing less than clutch from downtown.
