If the domestic violence is one where he is hitting on you then you need to leave and not worry about counseling because it gets worst. If he is losing his temper and calling you names and accusing you there is something broken in him and he needs to want and to seek the counseling before something happens. You can check out if your in church with your Pastor if not you can call the domestic violence hotline in your state it should be listed in the yellow pages and from there you can make a choice and seek out counseling - but remember this you can not change a person and they have to want to change and want counseling in order to be changed. I pray that you be safe. Depression comes from the abuse.
