Yes, even Sanjaya acts surprised each week when he doesnt get voted off. I think he even has a gulity look because he knows he shouldnt be there and part of the reason he still is because of that vote for the worst website that gets people to vote for the worst contestant.

I don't think it's rigged at all. It's the people who are voting, and evidently, as someone else said, a lot of teeny poppers, with no taste, are voting.

Actually I did not like the girl who got voted off this past show. Stephanie, was that her name? I never thought she was that great, but she was way better than Sanjaya. He's horrible.

Even the judges seem to be surprised sometimes how the public votes.

Last year, I thought McPhee way out-sung the other guy (I can never remember his name) Oh yeah, Taylor Hicks. See how much of an impression he left on me.

I don't think the American Idol vote off was bogus, but I do feel as though Sanjaya got the sympathy vote. If it wasn't for the little girl crying he may not have made it through to next week. I was shocked that Chris Richardson was in the bottom 2. I thought Stephanie did pretty good too, but it was hard for me to decide who I thought would be the bottom 2. I had Sanjaya in mind to leave, but there are so many young girls voting and that has helped him tremendously. I agree they vote for looks and not for talent.

Yes, to a point. I think that they may warp it a little. Also people are voting only on looks rather than voice quality. Yeah, Steph was a little copy cat, but she still has a great voice and she should still be in the competition. I'm as bewildered as many people about the vote-off. I remember thinking that they must let other people stay in because of entertainment purposes. Like if they relate to a lot of people in America they usually stay on for a while. I'm still a fan of the show though.

I don't think it was bogus...remember, a lot of this is about marketing...Sanjaja was put in the final 24 'cause he's got the look (not for me, but perfect for the teenies...and you can do a LOT in the studios with the voices)...after seeing him perform this week, I thought, no way, will he be in the bottom (I thought he sang horribly) since those teenie-boppers will be pressing their fingers bloody...I did actually believe Stephanie would be in the bottom, since she didn't seem to have the 'popularity factor'. I was surprised about Chris, especially, since all the judges praised him (that's one reason, why I don't think it's rigged)...

Look, Sanjaya has the Vote for the Worst clan and Howard Stern listeners behind him. There's no stopping him now!

Really at this point it does not matter what order they get voted off. Who cares if Sanjaya is voted off now or in a few weeks...AS LONG AS he isn't in the finals.

Stephanie got enough exposure I am sure you will see her again.

American Idol Is over-rated and I liked it from season 1 to last season and I think season so far has been the worst yet.

I think the young teeny boppers are voting on looks and not talent. It's quite obvious.
