Does anyone else think SIU got screwed last night against Kansas? There were 3 calls that weren't made that should have been against Kansas. 1-Shot clock violation against KU that wasn't called (the replay shows it clearly) 2-Goaltending against KU that wasn't called (he was touching the rim-no question with that!) 3-Shot clock violation against SIU that shouldn't have been called (you can see the ball change it's spin after hitting the rim) In that close of a game every call counts and we got screwed big time. GO SALUKI'S!!!!

The game shouldn't of even been close. Kansas shot nearly 60% while SIU shot under 40. Had the Jayhawks taken care of the ball it's blowout city.

They didnt get screwed out of anything. For every one of the calls that werent made against KU, there were calls not made against SIU. The refs let SIU get away with a lot of bs fouls (they were calling them on KU), called Arthur for traveling, when he obviously didnt (which took away 2 points), let alone all the travel calls and 5 second calls they didnt call on SIU and 3 second lane violations.
People ***** and moan about calling the game fair on both ends, if it had been done, KU would have won by a lot more than just 3 points. SIU is lucky the refs didnt foul every one of them out of the game.

There were a lot of no-calls for both teams. SIU is lucky the refs let things go, because if they didn't, a lot of their players would have been on the bench or fouled out. And we know which team has the deepest bench in the country -- KU!

KU escaped, just like Ohio State and Memphis.

That's just the way it goes!

It was a close game, but Mizzou won- end of story. What I am more confused about is why now that Kansas has lost ONE game its like they don't even exist anymore? Ok, so you lose in the final week to a top5 team and you're dog liver, but if you lost to some unranked .500 type school two or three weeks ago you still rock!!! Just shows what morons the 'haters' on here are.

SIU should have one they may have screwed theyre 20 point lead over but those calls were crap and even though they would have lost to UCLA in the next round kansas sucks!

Yeah they got screwed. I watched that game. There were at least 3 or 4 horrible calls that went Kansas' way. Those calls hurt a lot. Kansas deserved to lose. It's a shame that the refs had to hand Kansas the game with those calls.

What about the calls that KU didn't get their way...every game it's the same stuff, that was the most evenly matched, coached and ref'd game we've seen all year. No calls made or break this game, the players did.

The refs last night didn't call hardly anything and it made me really mad. Not just stuff against Kansas, but alot more stuff against the salukis (SP).
who cares, we won! =)
