I live in Minnesota and I say they should have a travel category for it also. It is a great state and very beautiful as the travel specialist indicated. And Minneapolis is a great city.

Ignore Mosley..........

Mosley, you might feel that no one wants to come to Minnesota, however you are quite wrong. There are several every year who are drawn to the silly "Mall of America" alone. That to me, I don't understand and never will.

On the other hand though I look at Northern Minnesota and that is a whole nother story! The Boundary Waters up by the Canadian boarder is gorgeous! Nothing like doing a canoe portage, camping (love campfires), going on a hike seeing the beauty of nature and the wildlife from bears, wolves, raccoons, beavers, moose, deer, coyotes, bobcats, lynx, etc.

So there are several more lists of wildlife that are even mostly "only" found in Minnesota.

I know our winters are long, but nothing like the great snowmobiling, snowshoeing in the woods at midnight during a full moon, ice fishing (ok in my opinion boring, but many guys like it!), etc. Or just fishing in one of our 10,000 lakes in the summer months!

Anyways, until one understands a state more they really shouldn't criticize or stereotype it.

So check it out and then judge for yourself! Add a Minnesota category! =)

I live in Minneapolis and I guess we are just too far out of the way, most people consider this fly over country.
