Magazines often buy short stories for children. Pick up a copy of Writer's Market or Children's Writer's Market. Or look one up in your local library. Right now ethnic voices are in high demand. You might be just what somebody is looking for!

The length you mention is too long for most of the children's magazines. Check out Writer's Digest Guide to Fiction Markets or their guide to children's markets (the exact title of which escapes me at the moment) for possible places to submit your work and specific writers' guidelines.

I assume the grammar, punctuation, and capitalization errors in your question are the result of haste. On a message board, that kind of haste simply garners sarcastic responses. A publisher would see it as ineptitude and toss your manuscript.

First try to publish any one of your best writing in a children's magazine and that will give you enough introduction to the publishers.

Get CHILDREN'S WRITERS AND ILLUSTRATORS MARKET to find out who is accepting what.

By the way, a publisher will dump your manuscript in the rejection pile for a single misspelled word. Proofread or waste your time (your choice).

Considering your question (wanting to find someone to publish your work), not using spell check was probably not a grand idea.

I wouldn't try... unless you mean to intentionally teach them to misspell and misuse words?

Which is actually common practice in public schools believe it or not!
