The Paul R. Williams designed home has sat abandoned for decades, its carved stone entryway and Mediterranean-tiled patio visible through the overgrowth. As the street curves around the corner, through the neglected backyard is a spectacular deep blue swimming pool built like a winding river. Most tour guides claim the house was owned by Johnny Weissmuller, tv's Tarzan, but he never actually owned it. Marion Davies, William Randolph Hearst's long-time companion, has been suggested as another owner.

It's a Los Angeles Cultural Historical Monument. Maybe it's owned by the city and they don't have the funds to restore it (it was damaged by fire). It's #485; The Nicolosi Estate.
