That would be the wisest thing to do...I try to do it when I am about to fight with my hubby...it stuns him sometimes that right before we start arguing I tell him that I do understand where he is coming from and explain it...that has stopped fights from starting many many times.

To have someone understand me would be a strange and wonderful event, no one understands me most of the time. Understanding others is my life's work, equally as difficult.
