A series RLC circuit has a resonance frequency of 2000/Pi Hz. When it is operating at a frequency of w>w0, XL = 13.0 and XC = 9.0 . Calculate the values of L and C for the circuit.

C = µF
L = mH

Ok, it's the same of the other user problem :

Ok, let's remember this :

XL = w.L ......... Inductive reactance

Xc = 1 / wc...... Capacitive reactance

so you have the frequency : 2000 / pi Hz

and you know that : frequency = w / 2pi

w / 2pi = 2000 / pi

w = 4000 rad/s

then, just replace in :

13 = 4000.L

L = 3.25 mH

9 = 1 / 4000.c

c = 27.7 uF

Hope that helped
