How to open the door cave of Regice in pokemon sapphire?

Okay - let's see here. I'm assuming you're in the actual cave that it's in - right? If so - here is what you do.

Go to the north wall but make sure you're in the middle of the area once you get to the wall with the message on it then you read the message there and press the A button then you just wait. It could take several minutes but it will work.
