I'll bet these aren't bumble bees, but carpenter bees. You will need to spray where they are drilling into your home. Watch them for a while and you will see them dart under your siding or anywhere else they can get at the wood.

These are big bees and they are carpenter bees. They are looking for a suitable place to enter your wood. You can use about any bug spray that is rated for outdoors, replaceing it after a rain. If they get into the wood, you can kill them by inserting a dowell (about 1/2 inch) into their hole after you have seen them enter. Put a little bit of wood glue on it and they are dead and buried.

Bees don't like marigolds. Put out a few pots of those.
