I seriously couldn't give toss and then you see all of these ads on TV saying "Jade goes to Spain" or "Kates drug sensation" and its kind of Get a life!!
Why do people buy Heat and all that rubbish?
DO you care what "celebrities" do?

Yeah I buy the mags, most of the stuff you can laugh at because it's so ridiculous. I also have an interest in fashion and these are the people who get to set the standard. If a desinger is accepted and worn by them then that is what the new rage is going to be and what you will see in stores. So whatever I don't understand why my bf reads magazines about trucks so to each their own.

I couldn't care less! I agree with you, you must have a sad life if you buy heat etc just to find out what Jade Goodie had for lunch!

I dont either, but i have a co- worker that buys all those magazines and then takes it all to heart, she will come set in front of my desk and ask me "Do think so and so is gay? because thats what they are saying? do you believe it? i dont know if its true..." and on and on... OMG I get so tired of it. But then if she leaves one of the magazines laying around i will catch myself flipping through it!!! It aint that i care in the least, but there is something about Gossip, especially about people in the public eye... But im one of those that i hear or see it and forget it the next minute cause I honestly dont care

No i don't care either. my sister is having a baby, i don't see any one putting her info out like some one will buy baby pictures from her. :-). if some ask you how do you feel about such and such tell them that there is a war going on and we need our troops to come back home!!!! or say parents are killing their own kids, what can we do to stop that from happening??? let's see what the responds will be.

I don't think that anyone truly cares if a celeb. is going somewhere, or that they got a DUI. People like celebs. because the think they know them from watching them on TV and movies. The problem is that they don't. If people didn't feel that connection; they wouldn't care.

I'm with you. I couldn't care less. Celebrities don't live in the "real" world anyway. They live in their own little self absorbed world, and I want no part of it. But it DOES prove one thing: that money can't buy happiness.

i agree but i think it doesn't have to do only with this ''get a life'' thing that u mention!!
some ppl wanna know bout celebs....millions of them....
ok but it may come out of curiosity as well!!! haven't u thought bout it???
or it may be like a TV series: u watch the 1st episode then the 2nd one and eventually u wanna see all episodes!!

I only see teenage girls buying those glossy gossip magazines, you see them after school in the newsagents trying to decide which one to buy. They are too stupid to realise that they all contain the same old rubbish.
