Well it all depends. I love both. If I'm at a restaurant I'll usually have a baked potato at home it's usually mashed potatoes.

If having steak or seafood, i would love to eat mash potato, if im having the potato just like that , i would like to eat baked potato. No reason, just like the combination.

Ooh, that's a tough one. I always order loaded baked potatoes when I go out to eat but I also love some garlic mashed potatoes..... I'll call my answer a tie!

Depends on what I'm serving with it. I like baked potato with steak and mashed potatoes with chicken.

How about the best of two worlds... twiced baked potatoes.. that's when you bake a potatoe, scoop out part of the insides, mash those and put them back in. Sprinkle with cheese... yum...

It depends on how both are cooked. A baked potato with butter, sour cream, brocolli, cauliflower, cheese, olives, bacon bits, salt & pepper is better then regular mashed potatoes with butter & salt & pepper. BUT, garlicy buttery herby milky chunky mashed potatoes are better then a plain baked potatoe with only salt & pepper...
