I hope they make some kind of trade with their first rd picks in order to move up and loose picks or move down and gain picks.. I just don't think the prospects at 24 and 28 will be worth the value.. They could do better by trading..

If they keep the picks..
24. Arron Ross CB/FS
28. Chris Houston CB or Eric Weddle S

If they trade up in the draft..
Patrick Wilis or Reggie Nelson

If they trade out..
24. Arron Ross or Eric Weddle
28 goes to another team and they get second and fourth rounders

I don't see Reggie Nelson dropping all the way to 24

I'm gonna venture out and say they draft Lawrence Timmons out of Florida St, assuming they don't trade their pick. Their LB core is not getting any younger and Timmons has unbelievable talent, except its raw talent. With all the experience and leadership the Pats have at LB, Timmons could literally learn from watching on the sidelines and coming in for a play or two so that he develops into that position properly. Just my 2 cents.

B. that's demanding to not immediately supply the Patriots an A based on the undeniable fact that they constantly draft nicely. yet, i will not in stable experience of right and incorrect supply them an A while they did not draft any working returned while there have been an excellent sort of efficient working backs this 12 months obtainable, and that they had a million possibilities. truly! they could not usher in a Javon Ringer or some thing with their 4th around p.c., and throw him into the preseason combination to confirm what takes place?

They can't have enough DBs and LBs...They need to keep the picks unless they can trade for Champ Bailey and Shawn Merriman...obviously, a ridiculous thing that would never happen...Actually, I think Merriman is overrated anyway, and they got Adalius Thomas...so, they will keep the picks and draft a DB and maybe another LB...

If it were up to me and they where available I would draft the brothers( twins) out of Texas because they are both DBs and have played with each other since at least High School if not Pop Warner Football.

Whoever they draft, they need some help with the defensive backs.
