Changing places would necessarily require my choice to live in my shoes, as well. Right?
Given that small detail, I choose Alejandro Sanz. My wife loves him and would probably enjoy his company as much as I would enjoy basking in the adulation of thousands of adoring fans!
Win win! Of course, this is only temporary. I enjoy playing with my children too much to give up that job permanently!
Now simply getting to step in (without actually changing places) would change my answer to Simon Cowell. To be paid handsomely to offer snippets of generally useless commentary would truly fulfill a life's dream!

I would trade places temporarily with George Bush so I would know what the *&%@#$ he's thinking.
On second thought, I'm not sure if I'd WANT to know--what good would it do for the world?
But if I were him, would I be able to do something that he wouldn't do himself (like stop the war and focus on domestic needs)? If I could, I would.

Miri Ben-Ari - Too cool to play like that.
Or Kate Middleton --- But I suspect that William would freak out if I became her and stared insistantly on the Prince ... giggle.

I would become Sean Carter ( Jay-Z, Jigga, Hova ), because he gets to make love to Beyonce.
