Why are you trolling Yahoo Answers when you should be fighting a war? And if you have that much down time, that something that should be so low-priority is such a big part of your life, then perhaps there really ARE too many U.S. troops in Iraq, wouldn't you say?

I'm certainly glad my tax dollars are paying for the troops to be on the internet.
Very important work they're doing over there.

I find it incredibly amusing that you people are so furious about this question.
I was taught to worship God, not men. Troops are not God. They are not imperfect. And they do not have the right to tell me what to say. Nor do any of you.
If you can find legal support for my "immediate deportation," I invite you to initiate proceedings, you cowards.

I agree. The people who are on this site are NOT serving their country. They say they are so they can get the support of the morons of the type who have answered this question. But they're really jobless wastes of space.

Wow this could be a efficient question. I save going backward and forward. So suitable it quite is my very very final answer. i think of that if the squaddies who've already fought over there and no what it quite is like then they might have a case. I quite have a large risk-free practices tension family individuals individuals and that i'm marrying a Marine. My guy says that this conflict is in no way going to end. The Iraqi human beings or possibly the police do now not % them to be there and that they gained't carry a democracy no person cares. it is so damaging over there all his pals say...unhappy. My fiance says that He speaking for himself desires to help Iraqi's over there and that they've have been given achieved a lot to help rebuild them even in spite of the shown certainty that it is going unappreciated via many and he even reported that the police there are transforming into insurgents because of the certainty of extra money and comparable with the Iraqi risk-free practices tension. on the quite a few hand there might desire to be those interior the risk-free practices tension that are in basic terms scared or ill of going over there. Frankly, i do now not see an end to this conflict. we can now not in basic terms pull those style of troops out of there. that is going to be nuts if we attempt this. yet a graduate pull out must be in save.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa WHOA, there!
It's bad enough that Bush has been abusing those folks all this time (sending them to fight for no reason, refusing to outfit them, slashing their pay, extending their tours), but this is just WRONG.
Get a clue!
They can't be patrolling 24/7/365, in every place they're stationed.
Hey, you'll find no one more anti-militaristic than I, but jeebus, if the people are in that hell (not of their own choosing, as many signed up to protect and defend OUR soil), and they can spend some time communicating on this website, let them (as long as they don't violate the Guidelines of this site -- wink).
Whether I agree with this or that soldier's views, I think it's invaluable for us to hear them.
It's probably essential for them to spend their down-time as they see fit.
The Guideline forbidding insults prevents me from telling you what I think of you.
SHAME!

SInce obviously you have no clue how this works, let me explain...
War is described as long periods of boredom with seconds of shear terror.
My job allows me time in the office when I'm not on patrol working with projects. Since there is a surge going on right now, we are having a "battlespace" issue and I'm kinda' at a stand still until that is resolved.
Trust me, I'm just enjoying the lull for the time being.

You apparently know nothing about troop activity over there.
Do you think they are on patrol 24 hours a day?
And don't you think that social interaction is a good way to avoid spending 24 hours a day focusing on the war?

I think YOU should head on over to Iraq and spend one hour, just ONE hour over there and see if you aren't wishing you could write home, talk to someone, get support.
What an A$$!!!
Where do YOU work so I can report your downtime to your HR department?

you should be deported immediately
the soldiers fighting for your freedoms live their lives like the rest of us , they go to work then go "home" to relax and get ready for the next day . Who are you to monitor the personal down time actions of soldiers
