I have a lot of really happy childhood memories, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with the time my dad was teaching me to play baseball in the backyard late one evening in the summer and I hit a homerun, right over the back fence. I was so excited I forgot to run the bases and he started screaming "Run! Run!", then when I made it to home plate, he ran up and hugged me and called me his little slugger. I miss those days.

When I was four I asked my dad to play with me. He said he didn't have any time. I dug into my pocket and said "Here's some time." He had no choice, but to play with me.

The day, my sister & I, were told we were going to live back with our "Real Mother!!" See, my step-mother, was of Latina descent, and was insanely "Jealous" of our real mother in which my sister & I looked the most like her, than our other two syblings, and she would "Verbally and physically abuse us, and even tried to kill me and my sister over and over again!!" Until we lived in "Fear for our lives, and stayed in our bedroom to feel safe, and then she got to where she made us stay in there for years, and then at night when our dad was asleep she would come to our bunk-bed we shared as her daughter had her own bed on the bottom and put her fingernails in our necks, and tell us horrible mean things in our ears, while she was stabbing us with her fingernails, and one time she put a butcher knife to my 6 year old neck and asked me why I was "Shaking ?" Well, she grabs a butcher knife out of the drawer, and puts the point to my throat and says "Christy , if you dont stop shaking I'm going to shove this knife down your throat!!" So I put my little hands in a fist's for fear she would see them shaking and kill me!! Then she grabbed me by the hair, and threw me across the kitchen floor, and yelled: "Now go fold the laundry!!" Then on another occasion she cracked my head open, and took my sister who also looked like my real mom, and with her own bare hands grabbed her by the throat and made my sister pass-out!! And screams at me to get a glass of water, now!!" That glass of water was my "Loving sister's life, in my hands to me!!" I couldn't get it to her fast enough!! And she took the glass and threw it in my sister's face, and yelled: "Now get up and go clean your room!!" And she never fed us, and one time I remember going to school, she finally gave me & my sister a bag lunch, and opening it, to find two peices of bread, with nothing in the middle of it.. And I was so imbarrassed for anyone to see, that I put it back in the bag, and didn't eat it.. But my step sister had bologna in hers with lettuce and cheese, and chips on the side, plus cookies.. So, when we came home from school that day, she told us we were going to live with our real mother, we stayed so "Quiet, until they actually drove us to our uncle's house with all of our things, and then, we still didn't believe it, until we saw our mother's car pull up in front of our uncle's house!! And then we knew we could be "Happy!!" I was the youngest of us all, and had to live with this wicked evil step mother since I was in diaper's....I was only 2 years old since I saw my real mother last.. When our father took us away from her, and she never saw us again, until 7 years later.. Our mother didn't know if we were dead or alive!! So, to see her Loving Arms again, was the "Best Day of my life, to this Day!!" And I am still very close with my mother!! I live right down the street from her!!Hahha!!!! Smile!!!
