I have noticed that my girlfriend takes birthcontrol pills and we don't have sex, she tells me she wants to wait until she is married. i asked her why take them and she says she takes it for medical reasons and because it controls her period. Is this true?

Yes, it's true. Women with irregular menstrual cycles or even really bad cramps can take the pill to regulate their period and to ease cramps. Some even take the pill to clear up acne.

Yes that is completely true, I know many woman as well as myself take them to help with periods and keep them under control..Sex is not the only reason woman go on birth control. So calm down she is not lying to you

Birth control is used for many reasons other then preventing pregnancy. It's used to regulate periods, shorten periods, reduce cramps, reduce acne and as a mood regulator.

yes! birthcontrol can help with the regularity and severity of periods. they can make a big difference and make life so much easier for us girls! but it kinda sounds like you have a trust issue w/your girl. might want to talk that over with her.
