Like the other comment said above I think he has a hidden agenda I'm sorry if I see things more realistic but to me a mansion come on if those people are homeless how will they pay there utility bills even though he is giving them 10 (100 dollar bills) but still that want cover everything they will need in the cumming months that money will only last for a while. And by the way I also read on the internet that he has been known for eviciting his tenants out of his homes and giving them only 30 days so he could sell the homes and these people where people who have jobs and paid him rent. So to me who knows what will happen if he decides to sell those manisions come on now you can get a lot of money for a mansion out there in hawaii I'm sorry money talks. I think he is doing this as a publicity stunt for the media and that so sad especially because you have people who are not in position to fully take care of thereself. I know it's his money but what I'm wondering is why a mansion out of all things and not a small house or an apartment. Some will think people on here are jealous but that's not true I think as a realist I would hate to hear about it being some kind of publicity stunt to make hisself look good and those people are back in a shelter that would be so messed up. That they thought finally I can try to really get on my feet and get ahead and then have it all stripped away. I guess everyone posting well have to wait and see if it all works out.

Why give mansions to the homeless? Why not provide free housing for students who have to pay so much for their education? Turn the mansion into a work-study area to better the community, why just give a house away? It just seems like a publicity stunt.

Yeah. I just read that article. Genshiro Kawamoto, Billionaire. I believe he said that giving his homes away to those less fortunate families was pocket change to him. I doubt he's doing it just out of the goodness of his heart. It sounds like the guy has a hidden agenda. We'll just have to wait and see...nonetheless I give him props for bringing joy to those families. Well, at least for 10 years.

Good for him presswise, as for the people, I'm not sure that having a home will cure their ills.
