I've always dreamed of creating the first flying pig...i have a few ideas but i'm not sure if they are possible. would breeding or surgery work?

the average pig would have to have about 60-200 lbs of lift. for that to happen, the pig would have to position its self at a 30 degree angle going approximately 55 mph. there are 2 problems with this happening: 1. no pig can go 55mph under its own power. 2. even if it could, the lift would gradually build in such a way that the pig would no longer be able to move itself forward, and never be able to reach the required speed. so, for the same reason a man with cardboard wings cannot fly, a pig cannot fly (under its own power).

If it served any evolutionary benefit for pigs to fly then confident it ought to ensue by using evolution, although considering that pigs have not any regular predators and are herbivores there is not any reason at the back of them to could fly so it would very almost in no way ever ensue
