The last time we went was last September about 2 weeks after schools were back in session. There were maybe 100 people waiting to get in the place & the lines on most rides were only 15-30 minutes long for most of the day. Now it was a Friday when we went, & as it got around dinner time, more people started showing up. It didn't seem to increase the wait time by much on the rides, but as usual, everyone was pushing and shoving to be up front for fantasmic @ night. Otherwise it was great weatherwise as well. Not too hot, not too cold.

Early November is an excellent time to visit. However, still steer clear of weekends. Tueadays and Wednesdays are the least croweded (overal) at the Disneyland Resort. The weather should be plenty warm during the day, but be prepared for cooler weather once the sun goes down. Pack a sweatshirt or jacket for evening hours. Have a great time!

September-October (best weather...usually still warm enough, but not burning hot), January-February are the BEST times to go. Early November and early March are alright also though. Weekdays are also better than weekends, of course, and also DON'T go on any holidays! Also, rainy days are so much fun, if you can handle it!
A rainy February weekday is like heaven at Disneyland...no lines, no crowds, very nice. Except there's also no fireworks, but that's not the end of the world. =P

For that, I would say late September to early November. The weather is nice and mild your whole stay. Also, there is no one really there because it is not around a major holiday. Do not go when there are major holidays right around the corner. That's when everybody goes. It's still fun but you have to wait a long time to get on a lot of the rides.

Sometime in February, April, March, October and November... Try to go on weekdays for very few crowds. If you do go during these months there is a possibility that some of the rides will be down for refurbishment

I went this last Friday and it was friggin' packed! I went day before yesteday and it was a little crowded, but it rained slightly and everyone headed for main st to leave the park. If you really don't mind the rain, go when it's raining or if showers are expected. Also, superbowl weekend is empty and any day between mon-thu. Call ahead of time to see if the park is going to have some special event....if they are, pick another day cause it's gonna be packed. :o)

The true best time to go to disney land in cali is right after Thanksgiving, because the local kids then go back to school.
