Go to Mallory Square to see sunset. there is a white house there that you can take a tour and you have to go see Ernest Hemmingways house, and don't forget to take a stroll down Duvall St to look at some of their shops. You can go to sloppy Joe's and hang out.

I've been to Key West 3 times and love it. If you're old enough, there are tons of bars to hang out in and listen to some great bands - day or night. The beaches are o.k., not what I was really expecting for an island. You can take a conch tour which goes around the island and points out different things of interest and you get a quick history lesson about the island. I also went out on a boat and went kayaking through the mangroves which was really great and did a little snorkeling too. I can't wait to go back again

Have a cuban sandwich from Five Brothers bodega on Southard street. FANTASTIC!
If you like the bar scene, hit Green Parrot on Southard, Capt Tony's on Greene, Sloppy Joe's and Irish Kevin's on Duval. Make sure to take in a sunset celebration (complete with a whole circus full of performers) at the Mallory Square pier at the end of Duval. See the Hemmingway house, the Mel Fischer museum, the KW aquarium... Have a fantastic meal at one of the top notch restaurants on the island (I recommend Rooftop Cafe, Louie's Backyard or Seven Fish for fine dining). Stop in at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville on Duval. Take a champagne sunset cruise (or add snorkeling too) on Sebago Catamarans. So much to do - more than you can do in a weekend, but have fun trying! It's a great little town. Party hard on Duval St. or step a block away and enjoy the island tranquility. There are several beaches, too.

I went on a cruise 3 years ago and stopped by Key West for a day. KW isn't too much different from the other Carribean countries so you can do the usual beach thing there. One of the more interesting thing to do is to visit the southern most point of the U.S there. When you get there you can just follow signs or ask some people.

I lived there for 10 years and loved it!! Go to Sun set pier at of course sun set. That's at the end of Duval st. Have a drink at Sloppy Joe's, Capt Tony's and at night The Bull. Take a tour on the Conch Train. Check out the Custom House. Mel Fishers treasure is there. I won't spoil the story ( His son Kane was my neighbor on houseboat row) The bars don't close but for about 1 hour a day to clean up. And Oh yes have breakfast Pepe's I think it is down on Green st. Have fun!!!!
