Advice on Cheap good stereo?

Ok, I have a stereo at home, but the cd player hasn't worked in a couple years. (Struggling college student here with home bills and family)
I got a couple gifts cards for Target for my birthday and was thinking about buying a new stereo with CD player... any recommendations? thanks.
