I was just wondering considering I'm not heterosexual and I'm attracted to people that may not be heterosexual...^_^

I don't think there is a check list for it.
Whatever you are attracted to is what you like. Just like some people like bananas and others don't (I'm talkin' fruit here buddy).
If you are that unclear thn steps must be taken to try it. Only then you will know by seeing how your feelings and body react.

There is no way for you to determine whether someone else is bisexual or homosexual, as some bisexuals who lean heavily towards one gender may not act out on their feelings to the other gender.
In terms of yourself, you are bisexual if you are unable to deny your feelings for either gender. You probably have gay days and straight days, or both. You feel ill at ease in both the gay and straight communities and wonder where do you fit in?

Well, if you know that they are at least out, then you can simply ask. I don't think anyone who is at least bi would have a problem telling you if they were gay.
or... are you asking how to just pick out a stranger. To that I would say that you just need to go where the gay/bi people are like start with a gay bar.

only way to know for sure is either catch them having sex or ask them. the second choice may be nicer and easier

If they know you well enough, ask them. If they don't, first win their trust, and they will open up once you ask them about it.
