What kind of websites were you visiting?
I was 15 I think and I was going to a lot of music websites and obsessed with Yahoo! chat.

First time I ever heard of the internet was in high school... The computer labs started using "the web" in about '97 or '98, so I was about 16 or 17. I remember, I was writing a paper about corporal punishment (spanking kids), so I typed in "spanking" in the search field, and pulled up porn at a Christian school. Waaaaaaay lucky I didn't get caught, even tho it was an accident.

Probably about 19-20. Using AOL chat and looking up band websites mostly.
Fortunately I figured out that AOL sucked pretty quick, and got the hell rid of it. (Of course that didn't keep me from using a bunch of other peoples AOL accounts I had gotten by phishing).
It's changed quite a bit over the years, but a lot of stuff stays the same. Most of the internet is either porn or ways to waste time. I do like keeping up with news, both from news websites and blogs, and of course answering questions on Yahoo!

I was using the internet before it was the internet. It used to be called a BBS board. I would have to say that I was about 18 and this was back in the late 80's

I plead the 5th on this. I have been using it for as long as the average age of y'all. I will say that I am a Grandpa. I even wear those funny little Grandpa glasses.

Probably 24. I was looking for info on cancer. A good female friend had just been diagosed. We lost her six months later.

I was somewhere in my 20's. I just basically surfed all over the web, because I was in awe haha!
