Worldwide, how many movies have been released (as apposed to how many were made..)?

I say the figure is in the millions, my boyfriend doesn't think it's that many...
ok. so, I have to narrow it down.. excluding porn of course.. that probably doubles the figure.
so we're talking - feature films
why isn't there anywhere I can find this out easily.. sheesh.
