I'm 15 and i've been attracted to girls all my life. I have also been in a relationship for about a year now, and i'm not really sure how to tell my mom, so please help. By the way, she's a huge control freak.

i find the best way i have heard and did my self was to write it down on a piece of paper every thing you want to tell her
every thing you can possible get to convince her
the read that over and correct it as many times as you want
then go to tell you mum
and not do it to plan
as in leave the notes and go back to them if you need to but
speck from your heart as your mum will know you are for real
the best way to have th conversation is to just say at the right or wrong moment if needed
"mum i need to have a conversation with you"
"it is some thing i have need to tell you for a while"
"and either say mum i am gay "
or ask "mum do you i am gay?"
her reaction is what you go off
*if it seems bad walk away and say "i knew you would not understand" as in the guilt trip
*if it seems good may be tell her how you feel this
as in tell her about a girl (never say her name unless your mum says it first as with some mother they will try to split you up)
there is a lot more things you can say and do but i hope this gives you a good idea where to start

good luck if fear gets the better of you wait a few years and move out as they can not do anything when you are an adult

You don't and if you do you ask her to help you get a life before you get more involved than you already are.You have been having a homosexual relationship (gay: means happy)since you were 14 and your accusing your Mom of being a huge control freak.More like your a perverted brat that can't control her own body.Get a life child.I hope those of you who are adults will at least find the decency to not lend your support to a 15 year old girl in this matter.

i am almost 18 and i told my mom when i was 16. i just told her straight out. she was mad at first, but about a month later she was like "whatever" about it. i have been with my girlfrend for a year and 5 months and my mom likes her....
if you are only 15 i would suggest you wait a little longer.. but it all depends on the person. GOOD LUCK!!

just sit down with her or go to a park or something and tell her you want to have a heart to heart with her, tell her you are still you, your just gay, now she might be upset at 1st just take your time and everything will be OK
good luck
my email is on if you need a friend.

At a young age, it may be hard to tell your mom about it. I would consider waiting untill you are able to move out on your own before telling her.

If you really want to let it out then you just introduce her to your girlfriend. Straight people don't have to tell their parents, they just introduce thier gf/bf to their parents and being straight is just assumed.

you dont need to tell her. I never understood this obsession with telling people. straihg tpeople don't run around making official announcements. just be you, those around you will figure it out! when you start dating, and all of your dates are women, others will notice!

I am situationally-bi. do i need to announce it to my parents, or my kids, or anyone? No. just do your thing, don't worry so much about telling.

i fyou were straight, woul dyou feel the need to "announce" it to your parents? probably not!
