realisation that some day you will be dead and that you will miss out on all the major world events and never know who died the day after you or that if you died of cancer for example that they may have found the cure a week or a month later? (and no religious mumbo jumbo please dont make me vomit)

sure do. it isn't moments that seperate us from death, but fractions of seconds. sometimes our minds enter that realization and reminds us to act accordingly. you know, the whole "if i had stepped onto the street a second later..." syndrome.

No. But no matter what you're going to miss out on all the major world events (I know I wasn't here during Ancient Mesopotamia, so I've missed out on all the stuff from there to 1983).

But seriously, those thoughts can creep up on you when you least expect it. However I've never had thoughts quite like that. I guess you can just use it as a reminder to enjoy your bright sunny happy afternoon!

this isn't sudden for me, I've known for a long time the only two thing iin life that are facts is birth and death, the bit in between we are supposed to enjoy.

Do I care who who will be born or who will die after I've gone? NO!! Will I know if a cure for death is deiscovered after my death NO!

Have a really sunny happy day.

Yeah I do, but mostly it is related to family things like seeing my children grow up and their children grow up. Will I be here to see it?
