Just did a bit of research for you. Looks like CBC is one of the sponsors, so that's why it's not on Discovery, as it is owned by CTV. But it will be available on CBC and CBC Newsworld. Here are the air dates:
ON CBC-TV
Series Two (parts 6-11) premieres Sundays at 7pm: January 14, January 21, January 28, February 4, February 11, February 18
ON CBC NEWSWORLD
Series Two (parts 6-11) premieres Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT: January 18, January 25, February 1, February 8, February 15, February 22
ON CBC NEWSWORLD
The Future (parts 1-3) premieres Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT: March 1, March 8, March 15

I saw it on CBC Newsworld, not Discovery Channel. Most of the series has already played. They'll probably play it again. Keep an eye out it's a brilliant and beautiful series, very stunning.

Newsworld is airing "Planet Earth" in Canada
If you have digital cable with video on demand (Rogers, SaskTel, etc.), you can get the episodes on VOD as well.
