Like as far as tissue regeneration, recover from hangovers, and recovery from injuries is concerned?

It only makes since to me that people with high metabolism would regenerate faster thus recover better and quicker.

Actually, people with a higher metabolism do not necessarily recuperate faster. When your body is using up all it's energy just to survive, which is what happens w/ abnormally high metabolisms, your body actually becomes depleted of the necessary vitamins, minerals and proteins it needs to heal itself faster.

Rest and a healthy, balanced diet are still the best resources for promoting healing.
