Yes, I have had two...my first was an emergency C-Section and it was the most painful experience it the world. My second C-Section was so much better!!! The difference was that with my first, I had an epidural and it was given to me at 10am, I had my C-Section at 6:30pm and the epidural was beginning to wear off so the pain was horrible even with the additional pain med. The second C-Section was planned & Scheduled...I got a spinal tap instead of the epidural. The spinal tap hurt so much more than the epidural BUT it lasted longer. I'd much rather hurt for the 5 minutes while they are putting the spinal tap in rather than hurting as much as I did after my 1st C-Section. Also the recovery time for your second C-section is a lot quicker. I got staff infection with my 1st C-Section so be sure that you watch & make sure that every nurse/doctor that comes in to check your incision washes their hands well. If you don't see them do it, tell them to. It might seem rude but your the one who has to deal with the horrible pain that comes with staff if they don't clean their hands before touching your incision.
Good Luck!!!!

My first was an emergency caesarean, but my other three were vaginal births. In most cases its best to try to deliver vaginally as its safer for the mom and the recovery is easier.

Yes it is very posible that you will need another c-section because whatever was wrong the 1st time is probably still wrong. However the next ones will be easier because they can plan for them and not wait until it is an emergency. My mom had 4 kids all c-sections and I was the 1st one and I'm glad she did. back in the olden days I think that the mom and baby would have died. Thank you God for Mr. Cesarian! Good luck to you.

I had 2 c-sections. You can try to have the baby since you have only had 1 c-section but there are risks you will need to discuss further with your Dr. It also depends on why you had the first one. I would not dilate and my Dr said I would more than likely have the same problem.

I've had three ceasarians and 2 laparotomies, so in all I've been cut on the same wound 5 times. I had a very competent gynae so I suffered no ill effects. However having said that, my tummy muscles are a bit slack and I have a little tummy which hangs over my wound (I had a bikini cut)

it is possible that you may need another but not necessarily depending on the reason for your emergency c section i have had 3 the first being because of failure to progress and foetal distress then they discovered that i have a very small pelvis and i have quite big babies so it was safer for baby and me to continue with elective c sections but for this reason i could have gone on to have vaginal deliveries i hope this helps good luck x x x

My aunt had 5 caesareans but can have no more kids so yes it is possible to have more than one caesarean.

I haven't, but my sister in law has had 2. Her first baby was vaginal, but he was so big that it caused alot of problems, so they just scheduled c-sections with the second and third. She could have found a dr that allowed her to try a vaginal after the 1st c-section, but she didn't want to risk it. As far as you needing one again, it depends on your doctor. Good luck!

I had a c-section with my first, a regular delivery with my second, and an emergency c-section with my twins. Having a vaginal delivery after a c-section isn't very common due to scar tissue, but it can be done.
