The HASAWA 1974 prescribes a duty of care for employers and employees for provision of H&S at works and to work in H&S concious manner at work

For specific aspects of this your emplaiyer on a building site should display a HASAWA poster on the site under CDM regs, which determine how a notifible construction site should set up, display of F10, appropriate signage, sigining on point, ensure appropriate PPE is used correctly and not as a first resort

If you can clarify your question then maybe I can give more info as the subject is huge and it does depend on wheter or nor the site is CDM or not
