One of each if you're offering!
MX5 has better residuals, for the price of a 1998 MGF you'll only be getting a 1991 MX5.
The MX5 has a better reputation as a 'B' road blaster and for reliability.
The MGF has quite a following though, and other than the Head Gaskets, are pretty good cars (avoid the early cars if possible). I'd have one in a shot, so it's down to driving and choosing between them, and having never driven either, I can't answer that!

MX5.
The MGf looks nice, but will either fall apart or stop working, or both.
