well in Vietnam while pulling our 1 & 1/2 hr shifts most guys moved the watch up about 20 minutes to wake the next guard up earlier...poor unfortunate guy pulling last guard could end up with anywhere from a 3 to 4 hour shift...
it was my watch and I had to reset it every single morning so I know this to be totally true.. PS I was the only guy in the squad with a watch
