Santana is money, but Halladay is no slouch.
Ichiro is in his contract year and there is much speculation that he may be leaving Seattle. If that's the case, expect a monster year out of the guy.
Ichiro and Beltran are a step up from Figgins, who I really like (I'm a SoCal boy), and Halladay is only a slight step down from Santana, but you need to look at the holes you need to fill.
If Figgins is your only SB, then I would consider Ichiro. If you have SB's covered somewhere else, then I would take Beltran.
Honestly....standing pat wouldn't hurt you, either. I think it is very equitable.

It is a tough decision, while Santana is the clear number 1 fantasy pitcher available, Chone Figgens is nothing to be proud of. Santana will get you at least 220 strikeouts this year as well as 15+ wins and over 200 innings. Halladay is getting older but his record last season was 16-5, not bad..and Ichiro is in a contract year which means he will be on the top of his game looking for big money. With Chone, you aren't looking at much power numbers except for doubles and triples, but Ichiro can provide the same amount of points. Ichiro, however, will get his 200+ hits and bat for an average of over .300 this year, making him a very valuable hit and steal guy. Beltran is a great outfielder who will get 30 homers, over 100 rbi, and steal 20 or so bases. It's a win-win situation, with the exception I am leary of Chone Figgins as a solid fantasy starter. I would say do the trade as Santana will only be slightly better than Halladay and either Beltran or Ichiro is a major upgrade to that of Chone Figgins.

Bad trade. Your giveing up way way way too much. Santana is the best pitcher and will beat Halladay in all statistics. Big plus for him. Ichiro will have similar steal numbers as Figgins and just a better average and more runs. (Here is the kicker) Figgins is a 2b,3b,of. He is more versatile so hes almost = to ichiro. If you really wanted to ... a fair deal would be Ichiro and Halladay for Santana. (dont give away figgins as a kicker.
The second trade he wouldnt do. Beltran and Halladay for Figgins and Santana. He loses big time on Beltran and his OF no longer has RBI power because he has Steals. (doesnt make sense for him)
Honestly offer strait up Santana for Halladay and Ichiro. Other than that it doesnt appear like a good trade opp

Go for it, but if you want to play fair make sure the other guy knows of chone's injury. Tough to trade away Santana but Halladay is not a bad replacement plus i will take ichiro over figgins even when healthy. One thing you do lose though is the versatility that figgins gives you in your line-up, however if he's going to be out for months that wont hurt.

I would do it if I could get Beltran. If not no deal. The improvement you gain from Beltran over Figgins is much greater then the loss between Santana and Halladay.

Nope. Johan Santana is just way too valuable. Roy Halladay is a great pitcher, but he also plays in the AL East where he will have to pitch against tough hitting lineups like Boston and New York.

Johan Santana is probally the premier pitcher in both real life and fantasy. Don't trade him!
I like Chone as a player, but his fantasy value is not really that high as he is too inconsistient, and doesn't put up huge stats.
The same can be said for the other players in this deal as well.

ok, enable's initiate with the closers change: it is the beside the point part of the commerce reason the two adult males are stunning closers and could finally end up with the comparable kinda numbers on the tip of the 12 months. Boston could get extra save opportunities than Nathan yet i do no longer think of that that's that sizeable of a deal consequently. related to the hitters now: truthfully you're giving a 1B for a 3B and swapping OFs. In baseball the placement eligibility is very virtually the main severe concern, in case you get carry of a extra appropriate 1B than Pena (i'm hoping you do) then Pena won't play lots for you and he purely had one super 12 months (continuously a frightening actuality). on the different hand, 3B are extra durable to discover than 1B and in the experience that your 3B became Lowell then getting Gordon is definitely a sensible pass. Lee is an improve over Fukudome, this is a no-brainer... whether Fukudome has a brilliant initiate, he's not any experience to Carlos Lee. i'd do the commerce if I have been on your footwear. the different guy is probable a Sox fan and overpaying for Paps ;)

Now is the time to get rid of Chone Figgins, if you haven't been watching he completely shattered his middle finger yesterday, and so accroding to sources he will not be ready to go for opening day. And if he can't grip the bat, he can't hit the ball, if he can't hit the ball, he won't be getting you the stolen bases you drafted him for. Keep the origiinal trade you have on the board. Good luck
