I am getting harrased by a message board jer. What do I do?

Some guy kept sending me less than friendly comments on this Yahoo thing and I just removed the ability to be sent e-mails on my profile.
If there's no way of blocking this person, then why not kill the message without reading it? Do this, but first send a message to this person insisting that he or she cease and desist or you'll take action beyond reporting it to the board's sponsor.
Cyber harrasment if a growing criminal offense and law enforcment takes it seriously .

Tell him you are reporting him to the authorities. I had a Yahoo personal page a while ago and someone wrote a very obscene letter to me, it scared me. I blocked the person and sent an email to Yahoo, they said they would check into it. It is hard to deal with as there are sick people on line, sexual predators, always be careful. There are numberous people that have on-line affairs, and cyber sex, so they don't know if you are willing to be one of those people, they are just testing the waters. I have had my share of crap, my husband told me it is due to having a picture on your profile. I removed it for awhile and the jerks stopped writing to me. If men think you are hot they will write and try to get connected with you.

I've gotten a fair bit of harassment for my feminist outlook on life. I just gave those guys snippy comebacks and forgot about them.
