Because it happened to me today playing golf! Just landed and stung and I didn't even swat at it! Now my eye has half closed over because of the swelling to this very sensitive area!

Not on the eye....but I had two sting me in the mouth!!!
Two bee's were in my soda can and I didn't know it. I felt the pain for months!!! I got stung on the roof of my mouth and on my tongue towards my throat!!

I have been stung right above the eye, on my hand a few times, on my foot a few times, and once on my ankle. Eye- I was catching bees with two glasses. I was 7. Hand I was moving some boards we were using to make a ramp for our bikes. I was 10. Also slapped a bee that was on someone else. 12. Foot. I was on vacation just walking along minding my own business and got attacked. I am allergic to bees, so I spend the rest of my holiday with a super swollen foot and part of calf. I went tubing (pulled on a tube behind a speed boat) with my messed up foot. It really hurt cause my foot kept hitting the water. Also the inner tube popped out of its mesh thing that contains the tube. My wrist got caught in the mesh thing that was being pulled by the boat. I was dragged under water for a minute before the driver realized it. So for the rest of the weekend I had a super swollen foot, leg, and wrist. Fun times.

My step-sister was, by a bumblebee, when we were kids!! Her eye got so big, we all teased her, but she laughed too!! She was such a klutz!! One time dad let all of us kids on top of the roof of our house, and she fell off of the ladder, and lost her breath!! Now, that was scary to all of us!! Then another time she slammed the door on her own arm, and had it in a cast... she'd broken it, and she just was so sweet, but just so many other things she'd do, I just cant remember half of them, but funny things, that would hurt her, you know... She'd laugh about half of them, but it was just bad luck on her part, I guess. I got stung by a bee on my inner knee area, when I was a kid, and panicked, and closed my knees so the bee stung my other knee, too!! So, I guess I'm a bit of a klutz, as well....Hahaha!!! Silly things we do, when we're kids , hoh!!!?? When I was young I knew to stay still when a bee came around, but now, oh boy if I see one, I "Scream, and run as fast in the other direction, as I can!!" Not Good!!HaHaha!!!!

I got stung by a wasp on my eyelid when I was little, it swelled so bad I looked like a monster.

i got my eyelid stung about a week ago...its not a swollen as it was but there is still a little puff...here is the trick....take ice and put cold cold cold water in the bag....(it works better with frozen food) hold it near your eyelid and keep it on there for about an hour or so...it will be gone before you know it! good luck and sorry about that!

No, but I had a spider bite on my eyelid when I was a kid. It swelled up as well.
