DO NOT USE CASTRO OIL!!!
I don't know why people have decided to use it, but it usually does not work. My cousin used it and I am not sure if it made her sick or was hurting the baby, but she wound up in the hospital until they decided to do a c-section. Even the Castro Oil people say not to use it. Please just wait until Monday, your health and your baby's are worth it.

I did not take castor oil to induce labor myself, but I do know many people who have (and I have had it for other reasons before). It's 50/50 wither it actually induces labor or not. I can tell you that it does cause diarrhea, which you do not want to be having when you go into labor (and which can be a sign of the onset of labor). I would strongly suggest that you avoid it. It's probably the last thing on your mind at the moment, but sex can help induce labor, as well as going for a walk. Just don't over do it. Your baby will come when he/she is ready. Good luck and congratulations!

It worked for me i started having contractions in less than 12 hours. Also went for walks as well. I was 42 weeks when i finally gave birth so i know the anxious feeling! Good Luck and congrats!

Since you're being induced in a couple days, skip the castor oil. It could end up not putting you in labor at all, and make you feel sick and have nasty diarrhea. Of the women I've known that have tried it, none of them actually had success with it, but said it was nasty stuff.

That you could ask the healthcare professional to head forward and begin to enduce her as it could take some time if she is tired and the health practitioner advised me when you're thus far along checking you cervix can make it begin to dilate or have her go to the healthcare professional and inform them she is depressing and wish to talk about it about getting it began in these days as she is over due and is scared the baby will dilate and also when you've got a enormous power to the health facility that is another purpose to as a result of to be certain you get there in time i would believe they would begin today or within the morning

I was induced at 39 weeks so I didn't have to try castor oil...my cousin did, and it didn't work for her. Try sex...semen contains prostaglandins that can soften the cervix.
