you can try Macy's, Dillard's, JC Penny's or check out this web site www.justthebeginning.com all types of dresses, very cheap but some are very cute. Go look around in the malls. I mean I know this is the one time you must look damn good, but also remember will you be able to wear this again some where special?? keep that in mind. get some thing cute so if you know you look good in it, you can wear it again some place else..... you have to show it off.

Try therosedress.com. They have lots of dresses to choose from. They are not that cheap, but I'm sure there are some under 200. Good luck finding ur prom dress.

Are you opposed to buying used? Ebay has several options. There are several people on Ebay for under 200 will make a beautiful dress to your measurements, but it will take about a month to make. Otherwise several people will sell their used one for really cheap, and they have only been worn once, and in perfect condition. I was just shopping for a ball gown and found the one I wanted for under $40 with shipping!
I can't wait the 30 days, otherwise I would have had one made for me, and they were around the $100 mark.

I bought my girlfriend a really beautiful prom dress originally around $300 for about $70 at Sears. Most people don't think to look there - so you're going to find really good deals. Keep in mind, different Sears stores have different selections - so if you're picky, you might want to visit two Sears stores.

I get all mine from dillards when they're having sales. I got a GORGEOUS burgundy dress there that was originally $280 for $35... Can you believe it???! I couldn't.. So definitely hit all those mall stores for their clearance racks now, before the prom dress rush hits!!!
good luck!

Try loralie.com - it's been a while since I've been there - so I don't know the prices anymore. But that's where I got my prom dress and I loved it!
