how do u repair a scratched cd. I heard something about toothpaste, but I'm not to sure. thanks in advance

Forget the toothpaste, if some of that stuff contaminate the CD player lens and laser then you'll have a broken CD player and an screatched CD with toothpaste.The are some kits but it's not an exact science and thre is no warranties, you can alsos take it to some store where thay ofer the CD "rapair" service, some Sony stores have it. Just remeber that some CDs can not be saved.
