Absolutely agree. The people who are saying "I disagree with all abortion" are not providing any valid reasoning. To those who argue that girls who are responsible to have sex should have to deal with the consequences, your opinion screams of spitefullness. Maybe the sex was a rape, maybe it was a mistake, maybe birth control didn't work. Whatever the reason, the determining factor of the abortion should be the best interest of the fetus, which can only be aborted as a fetus, so stop calling it a "CHILD." Children do not get aborted. Carrying a baby should not be punishment for having sex, as the person who talked about the nine month pregnancy indicated. I understand the adoption route; it is most certainly a worthy consideration. However, I think a mother should have the right to choose if she wants to add another child to this system, where it may or may not get adopted. By no means are foster homes and adoption agencies flawless. Many children go un-adopted, mistreated, or damaged from the system. A mother should be able to decide if she wants to subject a fetus to this. While you can quote the bible, or talk about what Jesus wants, I'm glad. It's wonderful that you have some type of morals. I see nothing wrong with that. If you are Christian, and believe that abortions are inexcusable, please do what you feel is right, DON'T HAVE AN ABORTION. However, not everyone has the same morals. Not everyone is Christian. This country is not Christian. That is why we are supposed to institute the separation of church and state. Do what you think is in the best interest of the child. Do what you think is right. This should stand true for teenagers too, as they are generally less capable of caring for a baby than an adult. For girls who have chosen to abort, you shouldn't be made to feel guilty by these preaching, non forgiving people. Learn from your mistakes, and try to be a good person.

I definately DISAGREE with ANY ABORTION!!! This is not coming from someone who is "so religious". I am 37 years young & have had an abortion in the past. Until you've been there, you DO NOT understand just HOW it tears you apart emotionally!!

Even though I was FORTUNATE enough that I didn't have any physical complications after my abortion, there are plenty of young women who have!! By the way, I was sexually assaulted and decided that abortion was the best way to handle the situation.

However, I would NEVER think again that abortion is a solution to a problem after all that I've been through. It wasn't!! I still was raped & I still became pregnant after. Then, I chose to kill my baby. It simply is not an answer!!

I even disagree with them in the case of rape or incest.
A baby from the moment of concetion is still another living person.
If the mother does not want the child, there are many people out there who can't have children that would be more than willing to adopt the infant.
Abortion is murder.

i think if a teen becomes pregnant that teen made a big mistake. i don't think a life should be brought into the world because someone, especially a child, made a mistake. teens in general can not care for a child. teens do not have financial stability, and may not be able to provide the emotional stability a child needs. if a teen brings a baby into the world she/he is kissing her education, career, social and extracurricular life goodbye in a sense. a baby will make the rest of her life (and his- if dad involved) more difficult. the baby will suffer because a young teen mom is not ready or prepared to give it what it needs and deserves. abortion in the first few months is NOT killing a baby. if performed early enough, the fetus is not even recognizably human- and will not experience pain.
i think if a teen becomes pregnant and knowingly can not provide proper care for a child it is responsible to have an abortion. make the decision that will be best for the rest of your life- your future, your stability, your financial situation. if adoption is a possibility then that is an option also- and also an honerable and responsible decision.

I know everyone else on here read a book written thousands of years ago that didn't even mention "God's" opinion on modern day abortion....

...but I'm an Environmental Chemist and researcher. The fact is, at early stages, the organism is nothing more than a handful of unthinking cells. Abortions keep young women from ruining their lives. It keeps them in school and on the right track. No one needs to be having a kid at 18 or whatnot. The Orphanages are overflowing...and they create a mass of angry violent substance abusers.

Your heart pumps your blood, your brain makes rational decisions. Think with your brain and not with your blood pump.

I firmly disagree with ALL abortions. People should watch one before they undertake such an act of putting under.

Know that the nervous system is fully functioning by the end of 6 weeks, which; incidentally MOST women or, in this case -teenagers, do not even find out they are pregnant until they are in the latter half of the 2nd gestational month.

And I know that EVERYONE will bring up the "infamous Rape Inquiry"......and Ive got that one covered likewise. BUCK UP, STAND TALL, and CARRY that baby to TERM and adopt the child out to a family who cannot have children.

I really disagree with that i understand that people might not be able to take care of them but i love babies and i think that they should have a chance to be in this world too i read this story it was about a mind of an unborn and it was so happy it was thinking about what it's mom and dad would look like and all these other things and then at the end it Say's that " Today my mother killed me" that story was so sad if u read it you would know where I'm coming from

Not to seem harsh. I totally disagree with all abortions. If you think you are old enough and responsible enough to be having sex, then you need to be responsible for the outcome you should be so Lucky enough that you only got pregnant and didn't catch a disease. Being pregnant is a blessing and if you don't wan this now then you shouldn't be doing things that brings them forth.
