Why do so many people insult those of us who can not spell? It is not our fault if we have learning disorders. Personaly i am rather sick of being told that i am not inteligent because i can not spell. That is why i got a 87 on my ASFAB (millitary testing) I think it is very rude and disrespectful when people insult other people who have some type of learning disability. I belive it's because of people like that alot of our children who are also in some way shape or form do not strive to be the best they can be and over come their disorder. Anyways i was wondering what other people thought on this subject.

My mother always told me that when people makes fun of other people its because they are unhappy with there lives.so what i teach my children is to not let others peoples negativity bring them down, and to be proud of who they are

Honestly by reading your question, I find it hard to believe that you have a learning disorder. When I see a question on here with many spelling errors and the wrong use of grammar, I admit the first thing that comes to my mind is that they are not very intellegent or lazy because they don't even use the spell check, you get the best answers to your questions if they are written properly in my opinion, I don't insult these people I just don't answer their question.

hey FLUSTRATED gypsy...you're obviously very FLUSTERED and/or FRUSTRATED by this topic...don't let it get to you. i usually overlook spelling errors as just simple typographical errors, however, when questions and so forth come through with absolutely careless spelling errors, in other words, spelled correctly in one sentence, then incorrectly in the next, that's what infuriates me. it's the lack of concern or respect for other people's intelligence that those LAZY contributors display that really gets me going and i submit a response accordingly...such as, "what are you trying to say?" i don't insult, however, unless i get a personal attack on my e-mail and then i respond in kind...privately. hope this enlightened you, at least somewhat. blessed be.
