Hey Gabbers,

USC will not win because of their lack of size. They will have that issue against UNC tonight and even if not, if they have to face Ohio State or Georgetown, they will get pounded inside again (they only have Taj Gibson but other than that their frontline is weak).

Should they get that far, they'd have to face Florida, UCLA, or Kansas. i don't think they have the inside presence... they have great wing players (Nick Young) and Pruitt is good but not on the same level as Torean Green, Darrin Collison, Lawson, Chalmers, (and we know how important guard play is in the final fours)...

Go Pac-10, i'd love to see USC vs UCLA in the finals (but highly unlikely).

Nick

Stranger things have happened, USC is a very good and balanced basketball team, they are just overshadowed by UCLA, Washington State and Oregon who all had a great year. They even get looked over by because of Stanford who over the last 10 years has had a great program. We looking at the best teams in the country now and they would prove it by winning. That's why people love the tournament because you prove it on your own merit, not like football where they pick about 4 teams they think should win the national championship......Problem with that is you always have good teams with 1 loss or Boise State kind of teams that win out and don't get a shot at the national title. If college at maybe the best 16 colleges teams picked by coaches and had a playoff system it would be so exciting and you would have no question who the national champ was and no shared champions either....??????

You and Matt Leinart in the cardinals pool. Im pretty sure you 2 are the only ones in the country to pick them!

haha, on a more serious note USC has been the most surprising team in the tourney to me. They manhandled texas and it wouldnt surprise me if they win again, but saying they will win it all is a stretch. (I EDITED THIS BECAUSE AT FIRST I SAID IT WOULD SUPRISE ME IF THEY WIN AGAIN....MEANT TO SAY WOULDNT)

i have georgetown and im pretty confident about that pick at this point. i like USC's chances tonight though! good luck
