After glancing through it I realized I have absolutely NO IDEA what they're talking about. Toruses, symmetries, tensors...

One thing for sure - it's not a P vs NP, as that problem would require a solid proof to be resolved, not a bunch of computations. Also, I think P vs NP is much younger than 1890s
