I have a Morgan horse that has been broke to drive. Would like to find kits for carriges, wagons and especially sleighs. If there is no such thing then where do I get the parts and plans to build one?

I am trying to find a KIT as well!!! I can't believe I can't find anything!? You think it would be a simple thing to find.... just all the pieces that need to be screwed together!!!!
Let me know if you find anything!

I do believe pioneerfarmequiptment.com work sled may be delivered in pieces and you put it together? not sure though, and its a work sled, not too cute.

THIS LOOKS LIKE THE BEST BOOK FOR BUILDING SLEIGHS...BUT WONT BE A SIMPLE SLED, BUT I BET ITS A GREAT BOOK TO LEARN TO DO SOME GREAT THINGS WITH! CHECK IT OUT!

If you search horse drawn carriages there are a number of manufacturers, some have kits. I found a great source for books and plans for building your own carriage or sleigh at
wildhorsebooks.com.

ebay usually has some good ones listed- we bought pony cart instructions off of there for a couple bucks.

As for parts- most of them are carried by Menards or Home depot. Other ones you can scan the classified for parts (old bike tires, a car axle, etc). What you can't find, there is always a website online that will carry it.

You might check Mother Eather magazine for your pattern. It is in one of their back issues.

If you type 'horse drawn sled pattern' into the search the web you will find several sites that have patterns.

Why not google it? Or, if you can afford to gt one built, lot's of people will custom build one for you.
