why is it men ask stupid questions?

I beg to differ, there are tons of women who are funny . Here is just a partial list; Wanda Sykes, Phyllis Diller, Elaine Boosler, Stephanie Miller, Whoopi Goldberg.
Whats funny to one person is not the same to another.

Have you seen all those famous female comedians in films, TV or clubs? Women often show their good humour rather their funny side in public as making faces, sticking out your tongue like many male funny guy do. It goes against their femininity.

i disagree with you. maybe you aren't hanging around the right places/people. also depends on what kind of humour you have.
you need to come and hang around the people i know.
we get to laughing so hard that tears roll. the men hold on to their sides, stomp a foot or 2 and can't breathe right because they are laughing so hard.
sometimes you have to start the laughter in order to find the laughter.
go for it! and may your funny bone tickle so hard that you roll over with laughter.

I know what you mean, very few women comics are actually funny. For example cathy griffin, she is so terrible. I could do her routine and it would be better.
