I had no friends until i met this one boy named Keith. Throughout the years, we have become more than best friends... were like family. We know what were thinking before we even think it, we laugh all the time. and when were not, we try to make the best of everything.
My other best friend has dated Keith for a while now, and she is absolutely obbsessed over him. they got in a fight, and she smacked him at the valentine's day dance. Now, their not talking and i'm in the middle. She thinks I love Keith. and though i assure her that i don't like him like that, i'm not entirely sure that i can convince myself of that.
If it wasn't for him, i would have killed myself. Honestly, i was so sick of being alone and being hurt.
If i love him, i don't want to hurt my other friend... And if they ever get back together, i'd be willing to let go of my deep feelings for him in order to assure their happiness?
Can i do it?

Sounds like he may be a better friend to you than the chick. You might just let her go her own way and try to disconnect yourself from her. She sounds like trouble and is jealous of the relationship you have with Keith. If you feel that deeply for him, the best thing to do is talk to him about it before trying to pursue anything, to make sure you two are on the same page. Just reminder, girls are MEAN, especially when it comes to a guy, do you really want that drama from your friend??

You are under no contract or obligation to dump Keith just because your gf can't get along with him; nor, are you under any obligation to dump her. That is THEIR problem, not yours. Tell them so.

Now....maybe you'd like to take another look at this situation and reconsider "liking him like that". You have everything with him that she wants....that EVERY girl wants...maybe you two are meant to be. What can be better than being in love with your best friend (Keith)? Here is an opportunity. All is fair in love and war, honey. Whiney girlfriends come a dime a dozen. Godloveya.

Yes you can do it. If she is really your friend then yes you should always want to see her happy. Do not get in the middle of this relationship anyways b/c it is hard to replace true friends like the one you seem to have. Explain to her that you truly want was is best for her.

There will be others that come along and sweep you off your feet. Good Luck!
